EMIRATES APPOINTS NEW COUNTRY MANAGER FOR TANZANIA
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, August
2017: Emirates has
announced the appointment of Mr. Rashed Alfajeer as the new country manager for
Tanzania
Mr. Alfajeer, a United Arab Emirates national, will be
responsible for overseeing Emirates’ commercial, customer and cargo operations
in the market.
“I’m delighted to have been
appointed as the new country manager for Tanzania and I’m looking forward to
working with the local team, as well as our trade partners in further
developing the Emirates business in the market,” said Mr. Alfajeer.
“My focus in will be to
continue providing our customers in Tanzania with the best possible service and
value for money, as we connect them to more than 150 destinations across the
world,” he added.
Mr Alfajeer joined Emirates in 2013 as part of the airline’s UAE National
Management Programme for Commercial Operations. Since then, he has held
commercial support roles in Sri Lanka before taking on the role of District
Manager in Dammam, Saudi Arabia in 2015.
Emirates operates once daily between Dar es Salaam and
Dubai with a Boeing 777.

Emirates flies daily between Dar es Salaam. Flight EK
0725 departs Dubai at 1025hrs and arrives in Dar es Salaam at 1450hrs. The
return flight, EK 0726 departs Dar es Salaam at 1645hrs and arrives in Dubai at
2320hrs
